Cosmic Club Championships 2006

Final results for the 2006 club champs. Of course
they are open for scrutiny and query.

In the open category Dennis pipped Jason by a single point with Keith R
and Carl a further 2 back.

In the vet category I have declared a draw. Dennis and Carl had the same
points with 2 wins and 2 seconds each. Dennis did beat Carl in more
races but they werent part of the counting 4.

MSV say Murray Bryce take the title due to consistent appearances at
races.

Female was won by Anita from Lois, a reverse of last year.

Lois got revenge in the lady vets mind you.

Female super vet went to Anne Stone this year.

We had 48 people do at least one race and 17 do at least 4.

Aberdeenshire Hill Race Series

After a closely fought battle between Jason, Dennis and Keith (all Cosmics!) the Aberdeenshire Series which takes the cumulative times from Cairn William, Morven and Bennachie was won by Jason Williamson. Dennis took the 1st Vet prize and Keith 3rd overall. Ruth MacKenzie from Deeside won the ladies prize. Full results at www.shr.uk.com.

Bennachie Hill Race 2006

Results from Bennachie at the Garioch road runners site. Well done to Dan for winning, Jason who was 5th, Keith who was 6th and 1st vet and Sonia who was 2nd lady. Click here for some photos - thanks to Rosie.

Cosmics at the World Vets
